DL350 ScopeCorder

Flexible & Swappable Input Modules with Built-in Signal Conditioning

Choose from 20+ types of input modules and install up to 2 in the DL350 Portable ScopeCorder at a time to capture up to 32 channels plus 16 built-in channels of digital input. Input types include:

Voltage & Currents Sensor Outputs Temp, Vibration/Acc, Strain, Freq Logic & CAN / CAN FD / LIN / SENT

Use it like a Data Acquisition System or Long Memory Oscilloscope

Up to 20 Gpoints of data per module can be recorded directly to an SD card for continuous recording for up to 50 days. For high speed signals, up to 100 Mpoints per module of internal memory is available to capture fast transients — up to 10,000 times more memory than other portable oscilloscopes or test tools, enabling higher sample rates or longer acquisition periods.

Verify Power Line Quality using Harmonic, Power or FFT Analysis

Evaluate power in single-phase and 3-phase systems. For fundamental waveforms of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, up to 40 harmonic orders can be analyzed. Alternatively, use the integrated suite of FFT functions to perform comprehensive full frequency analysis.

Environmental Features for Portability
  • Vibration Resistant: Conforms to Japanese JIS D1601 standard for resisting in-vehicle shock and vibration, featuring an aluminum inner frame and external rubber protective bumper.
  • Wide Temperature Range: Operates from 0°C to 45°C even when powered by its rechargeable battery, bringing laboratory-grade measurements into harsh field environments.
A Wealth of Triggers for Fault Finding

Choose simple level triggers or enhanced triggers including pulse width, waveform period, and multi-channel logic. The wave window trigger is ideal for AC power line monitoring to easily capture voltage sags, surges, spikes, phase shifts, or dropouts (40 to 1,000 Hz waveforms).

Leave a DL350 unattended to automatically save the waveform to a file or send a notification email if and when it triggers.

DL350 Portable Module Feature
Compact & Field-Ready Hardware

The DL350 combines a 8.4-inch resistive touch screen, physical keys, rechargeable battery operation, and modular signal conditioning into a compact, ruggedized unit ideal for on-the-go automotive driving tests, rail maintenance, and industrial field troubleshooting.

Electric Vehicle Inverter Voltage Evaluation

The voltage fluctuations of the input and output of the inverter can be measured alongside the trends of speed, acceleration and braking from the data on the CAN/CAN FD bus.

The optional rechargeable battery pack enables the DL350 to be continuously operated without burdening the in-vehicle power supply.

Up to 20-hours of continuous data can be directly recorded to the SD card with sample rates up to 100 kS/s.

The optional GPS unit* adds coordinate information to the recording data to enable the measurements to be correlated with the location of the vehicle in a drive test.

CAN/CAN FD, LIN and SENT Monitoring

Use the DL350 with /VE option and bus monitor module to decode CAN/CAN FD, LIN bus or SENT signals and display information such as engine temperature, vehicle speed and brake pedal position as trend waveforms and compare this with the analog data coming from the actual sensors. This enables automotive engineers to gain an insight into the dynamic behavior of the complete electromechanical system.

Motor, Inverter & EV Powertrain Applications

Easy Access to Frequently-Used Applications: Touch any application icon and the graphical setup screen appears. Intuitively change settings prior to measurement by following the wizard screen.

Motor dq Analysis (/MT1)

Calculates Park and Clarke transformations in real time from battery DC voltage/current, three-phase motor voltage/current, and motor rotation information. Can be combined with motor parameters, power measurement, and harmonic analysis.

Power & Harmonics Analysis (/G05)

Evaluates EV systems by calculating conversion efficiency from inverter input/output power and analyzing harmonic effects caused by external disturbances while capturing mechanical variations in motor speed and torque.

Calculates rotation angle from pulses output from an encoder and displays the rotation angle trend as a waveform. Rotation angle and control signals can be simultaneously inspected for abnormalities.

Dual Capture Function (Long Term Data Recording)

For durability testing, resolves conflicting sample rate requirements by simultaneously recording at two different sample rates — capturing transient phenomena with a high-speed sample rate while monitoring low-speed data for long-term trends.

Strain Gauge Transducer Measurement (/G03/G05)

Measures load, pressure, and acceleration by connecting strain gauge transducers such as load cells or torque sensors. Automatically calculates conversions from cumbersome calibration values for easy setup.

Power Line Abnormality Detection (Wave Window Trigger)

Special triggers detect frequency fluctuations, voltage drops, momentary power loss, sags, and surges that are difficult to detect with ordinary triggers.

Real-Time Mathematical Computation (/G03/G05)
